About Mindy Gibbs

Mindy Gibbs

I'm a 55 year old artist. I used to paint in my youth but then life involving children, jobs, etc. happened and I quit all art. Last year on June 16, 2017 I picked up my brushes again. I have since become a very prolific painter. I use several mediums but acrylic on canvas, acrylic on barn tin, pencil on paper and watercolor are my favored mediums at this stage. I frequently work on two to three paintings at a time. I am self taught and I am thoroughly enjoying the process of trying new techniques, exploring new mediums, and diving headfirst into the art life. I live in the Ozarks with my husband and cats with our children and grandchildren all living close by.
